Christine Kay

Christine lives in the Akron/Cleveland area with her two boys and fur babies.  She has her paralegal degree and comes to Shur Law with over 30 years’ experience in multiple areas of the law.  

Prior to joining Shur Law, Christine most recently worked at a large firm in downtown Akron, OH primarily focusing in the corporate law area including, general business matters, mergers & acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, healthcare law, intellectual property, civil litigation, workers comp/employment law, tax, and estate planning.  

She is both excited and eager to be back in the family law and estate planning area.  She is passionate about assisting clients with more intimate and complex family matters, aiming to reach positive outcomes for all involved.   

In her free time, Christine enjoys spending time with her family and friends; being out on the lake; attending concerts, any live music and/or sporting events (Go Browns, Indians, Cavs & Ohio State!). She loves traveling and is excited for her upcoming trip to Japan with her youngest son this Spring. Some of her hobbies include working out (yoga, spinning and weightlifting), dancing, hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, swimming, pretty much anything that involves being outside in nature. Oh, and cannot leave out … spending time playing catch with her 2-yr-old boxer or snuggling with her cat any chance she can get.
